Welcome to week three of Creativity in the Time of Capitalism (CITTOC). In the past two weeks, I have given you a good bit to read, and I asked for the biggest expenditure of all: your undivided attention. With these words in mind, I want to deliver a heartfelt thank you for being here and lending this space the magic of your attentive eyes and mind. I’ve been thinking a lot about attention these past few weeks as I have dipped back into the social media space to promote this project. I wish that I could say that I came out unscathed after so much time away. What I found instead was that old habits die hard. I ended up helplessly watching several hours slip through my fingertips on that platform while I stuck around…
