A recent portrait by my dearest friend Kelly DeWitt Norman.

I’ve just recorded a first—a check in that I am calling a sketch (at least for the time being). I am emerging from my postpartum bubble to a world undone, as a person very much in a state of reformation, with a mind hungry for connection. As I revisit my recent and upcoming interviews, recorded over the winter, I am experiencing every word with new senses. It feels like someone else recorded these conversations so many months ago. I am listening as a stranger and am struck by so many new impressions. A distillation of meaning. I am leaving a few doors ajar for you to wander through. I hope you’ll listen.

Until next week when I’ll be releasing my conversation with artist and designer Alexis Stiteler.
